Born in Canada and raised in the United States, Ray Bonneville is a folk and blues-influenced, song and groove man strongly influenced by the deep musical traditions of New Orleans. An acclaimed raconteur, he strips his bluesy Americana down to its essentials and steeps it in the humid grooves of the American south, creating a compelling poetry of hard living and deep feeling. Returning to The Bassment with his keyboard player Ritchie Lawrence, Ray will perform selections from his impressive discography of nine albums, including his latest, At King Electric.
