Quality Control is a modern Jazz/Fusion quartet that draws influence from many genres including Latin, Funk, Rock, and Jazz. The instrumental quartet blends different sounds into a fresh style that attracts an audience from all sides of the musical cosmos, fit for all music lovers alike! As artists, they are continually looking to expand on original music and find new ways to express themselves. Quality Control puts great emphasis on musical interaction, technology, and craftsmanship. They push the envelope of creativity with strong artistic statements. Each member is essential to the band. After meeting and playing together in post secondary studies, the band’s sound continues to evolve. Their goal is to connect with the listener and share new experiences every time they play.

Wielding an eclectic brand of folk/roots/jam rock, the Matt Remenda Ensemble wants to give as much as it possibly can at every performance. They will lure you in with waves of cool and gentle tunes to get you swaying, then crank the knob to eleven to deal a knock out blow with a face-melting, solo. The Saskatoon-based quartet, consisting of Matt Remenda (guitars and vocals), Nathan Abramyk (drums and percussion), Cameron Baribeau (keys) and Michael Stankowski (Bass), have just released their first album (So Long Forgotten) in 2018 and immediately followed it with the release of their EP (First the Heart) in 2019. However, the live performances are truly where the magic happens. The Matt Remenda Ensemble is sure to have you dusting off your tap shoes at one moment then get you head banging in the next.
