Ev comes fresh off a European tour in May to kick it with us back home. Saskatoon's illest DJ duo, The Stone Cold Party Rockers, will be holding down the music on 4 turntables all night. Some of Ev's closest homies in the hip-hop community will also perform.

Ev Thompson

Ev Thompson has accomplished a lot of in a relatively short career thus far. He has set himself apart from the average hip-hop artist touring an impressively captivating live show across North America, and displaying a lyrical prowess and vocal tones that have drawn comparisons to artists like Brother Ali and Joyner Lucas.

Ev's song '3Peat' recently was featured on Eminen's siriusxm station Shade 45, in a segment on the Lord Sear Special. Ev's last three independently released projects all charted multiple times in the National Top 10 Hip-Hop Charts on Canadian College radio, he has toured internationally multiple times, has an album produced by a Juno credited producer (Rel McCoy - Shad, Ghetto Concept), an album featuring production from a WCMA winning producer (Factor Chandelier - Def3 Wildlif3), and his forthcoming release 'God Save The Crown' contains beat production from Atlanta based producer Kato (Roc Nation, Nastytrax, and formerly of Funk Volume Records). He has to date released 4 videos from the project, with more coming with the official release.

Ev Thompson has over 500 of shows to his credit across 5 Canadian provinces, and 9 American states. He has toured Canada consistently as a headlining act as well as being tour support for many accomplished artists such as Merkules and Evil Ebenezer of the Stomp Down Killaz, Jarren Benton, Ghettosocks, Rel McCoy and Dragon Fli Empire; and he has toured the United States as main support for LA rap legend Abstract Rude multiple times, as well as Scarub of Living Legends. This May he embarks on his first European tour as well. Ev has also shared stages with Rittz, R.A. The Rugged Man, Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Ill Bill, Slaine, Apathy and Celph Titled, SonReal, Snak The Ripper, Moka Only, Aaron Cohen, and many more.

Ev Thompson maintains an active schedule; he has played festivals such as Northern Touch Music Festival in Winnipeg, the Parks Festival in Kelowna, Electric Love in Chilliwack, BC, and he has showcased at Canadian Music Week multiple times.

Ev's fan base has grown significantly over the past 4 years, and he has received funding from Creative Saskatchewan, The Saskatchewan Arts Board and SaskMusic. Ev Thompson is well on his way to captivating a much larger fan base and solidifying himself as an artist to be taken seriously in Canada and across the world.
