C A Jackson & The Montgomery Street Band are embarking on their first cross country tour this May and are coming to a town near you!
The Montgomery Street Band is a string band composed of Patrick Gushue (mandolin/fiddle), Liam Keith-Jacques (guitar/dobro), Scott Michaud (banjo), With masterful instrumentation, these avid street performers boast an impressive catalogue of old time music while also incorporating the blazing tempos and dynamic energy of a full fledged jam band. They will be joined by the ragtimey guitarist extraordinaire, C A Jackson, to complete the quartet. Together they will play a host of foot-stomping traditional folk & fiddle tunes and he may even hop onto a mariachi guitarrón (if we’re lucky!) for some truly raucous bluegrass & newgrass fusion. With TWO brand new albums in tow, this rotating cast of folk musician characters will put on a show you won’t soon forget!
