The North Sound is cold like a Saskatchewan winter. It's humid as a summer day in the streets of Montreal. As unpredictable as the weather in a singular Calgary day. The North Sound is ever-changing with the world around us, encompassing each and every pivotal moment, from road trips as a kid to finding your way as an adult. It's feeling lost but knowing you're loved. The North Sound is an attempt at trying to close the gap reflected in the vast space of the open Canadian landscape.

Forming in the summer of 2014 by Forrest Eaglespeaker as a way to share his stories, The North Sound has been working hard to shape their sound into what has become an original take on folk, rock and Alternative genres. Their big open sound can only be described as truly Canadian.

LJ Tyson is a singer/songwriter from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Although he is young in years his song writing skills have not gone unnoticed. He has won the EA Rawlinson Centre Songwriter of the Year Award, he has been commissioned by the city of Prince Albert to write original music for a video highlighting the culture of the city, and he has charted on the Indigenous Music Countdown (Formerly the National Aboriginal Music Countdown). Not bad for a 23 year old!

Marentin Fehr is a young emerging singer/songwriter from small town Saskatchewan, currently residing in Saskatoon, SK. From dreamy, acoustic numbers, to uplifting pop tunes, and even punchy indie rock, his music is consistently sprinkled with optimism but grounded in reality.
