John Wort Hannam is one of Canada’s best folk/roots singer-songwriters. He is a born storyteller with a keen eye for the quirky and lyrics that create stories behind the songs. Hannam has the unique ability to take the simple day-to-day dramas of common folk and turn those dramas into songs that map the landscapes of both the human heart and this vast continent of ours.
Over the last 18 years Hannam has been making music and touring across North America. Through his seven-album career span, his list of accolades and nominations continue to grow; awards from Canadian Folk Music, CBC Galaxie Rising Star, and Kerrville Texas New Folk, to name a few. For his Regina performance Hannam will be accompanied by Stephen Fletcher (keys) and Jason Valleau (upright bass).
