On May 1st, local fiddle aficionado Donny Parenteau is bringing us a passion project that he’s been wanting to do for a long time. Colours of the Sash will feature music from the beginnings of Métis fiddle to jigging, then progress into a variety show of Métis artists featuring the one and only Métis Superstar Ray St Germain! Audiences and fans can also look forward to a performance by Donny Parenteau as well, and a few more friends to share the stage and celebrate Métis culture.
