About Sarah:

I grew up in in southern Sweden, surrounded by ocean, forest and farmland. I started playing the organ at 7, before picking up my mum’s old guitar from the attic at 11. That’s when I started writing songs, and I formed my first rock band at 12. I spent my teenage years in a dingy rehearsal space in the city of Malmö, always obsessed with the art of a song.

Now I am based in Canada (my father’s home country). I have learned how to chop wood. I have experienced -50 in the Yukon. I have seen many small Canadian and European towns. I have studied Music Composition and Audio Engineering in University. I got a puppy. I’ve collected multiple awards. I have played major Canadian and International festivals and shared stages with many people who I very much admire. I am always on a quest to learn more. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, and ask myself how I got here.

Thank you for listening.

With love,

Sarah

About the Album:

‘All The Hours I Have Left To Tell You Anything’is a record about strength, identity, death, the breakdown of relationships, birth, and the ghosts we honor and carry throughout. It is my fourth record. It was written in the midst of the death of my grandparents, the birth of my niece, and a break up. The nine songs are influenced by the vastness of the Yukon landscape and the dark beauty of Scandinavia.

‘All The Hours I Have Left To Tell You Anything’was produced, recorded and mixed by Montreal-based Marcus Paquin (Stars, The Barr Brothers, Timbre Timbre, Arcade Fire, The National), with additional production and recording by Rich Jaques (Lisa Loeb), Nygel Asselin (Half Moon Run), and Bill Lefler (Royal Wood).
