T. Buckley is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has become a staple in the Alberta roots music scene. Over his 10 year career, Buckley has been known mostly for his work with his band, The T. Buckley Trio, who together released four albums, topped radio charts, sold out shows across western Canada and held down a 4-year weekly residency at one of Calgary’s best live music venues.

Buckley’s fifth album, Miles We Put Behind, will be released October 19th 2018 and marks a departure from Buckley’s work with the Trio. Inspired by the music of Guy Clark, James McMurtry and Lyle Lovett, Buckley recorded the album at Hotel2Tango, a 24-track analogue recording studio in Montreal. Grammy-winning musician, engineer, and producer Howard Bilerman (former drummer for Arcade Fire with over 400 production credits including Leonard Cohen) produced the album.

Miles We Put Behind is already catching the ears of many, recently Buckley was recognized at the Kerrville International Songwriting Contest in Kerrville Texas and has been awarded an Official Showcase at the 2018 South West Regional Folk Alliance in Austin Texas.

T. Buckley will support the album release with a Western Canadian tour in October and November 2018.

Kara Golemba digs deep to draw strength from her roots. Her voice can be a sweet mixture of warm honey with a little grit, or she can raise it up to rattle the teacups.
Golemba charms with her genuinely raw emotion and authentic writer’s voice.

2018 has brought Golemba’s first SCMA(Saskatchewan Country Music award) nomination for Roots Artist, she was a finalist in the Canadian Songwriting Competition for song “Box Labelled You” in the folk category and she showcased at Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, MO.

A full length follow-up to her EP “Every Little Light” is in production and includes a collection of songs that display the natural evolution and growth of a determined songwriter.
