JUNO nominated vocalist and songwriter Barbra Lica is on her way up. With a CBC ranking for being one of the Top 5 Jazz Singers in Canada and a second place finish in the 2013 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Barbra has headlined the Montreal International Jazz Festival and Vancouver International Jazz Festival and has performed at Toronto’s Koerner Hall and New York’s legendary Birdland Jazz Club. Possessing a deep passion for the music of classic vocalists such as Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra has been described by jazz writer Ross Porter as being “a dazzling performer with talent to burn and vocals that will knock you over.”
