Lovers Touch (Toronto)

Lovers Touch is a Canadian indie-rock band originally from Salt Spring Island BC. Shane Hooper (vocals, rhythm guitar) Dexter Nash (lead guitar) and Noah O’Neil (bass) formed the trio in high school. Their unique version of “dad-rock” proved to be a winning formula and they quickly generated a west coast following, tours and three EP’s. Upon relocating to Toronto in 2016 the group’s high-energy live shows has built them an avid audience, via their performances in Toronto clubs and tours in Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada- over 90 shows from across the country

Jezebel (Saskatoon)

Unapologetic Bridge City prairie pop punk. Pulling no punches with knockout hooks, hard hitting melodies & heart-on-their-sleeve lyrics.

Ellen Froese (Saskatoon)

'Ellen Froese’s “I Wish I Had a Foot-Long Cigarette” is a song about yearning. Froese, with an enchanting warble, wishes for things that can make her life a little bit easier. At the very end of the song, Froese sings, “I wish this road it wasn’t half as long, if I could cut it down in size, stop my mind from running dry…” and then the song just ends and you’re left stranded in the middle of a dusty highway. It’s SUCH a great ending.
