Shayne Lazarowich writes songs about the simple, yet essential things in life: friends and love, social justice and harmony, happiness and loss. His voice is one of raw intensity and power and he performs with the passion of the folk and country heroes of legend. His performances are filled with honesty and down to earth tunes for real people who enjoy real music and lyrics.
Shayne's own compositions, as well as his interpretations of classic traditional country and folk tunes, were influenced by artists such as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and The Band. His musical voyage is one that began with the guitar teachings of his uncle, artist Leslie Potter, and continues to evolve. His love for people, music and life has carried him all around the world through many different lands and cultures.
Shayne has played everywhere from Guatemala City to Manila, from Taipei to Managua, and back home in Canada. Shayne Lazarowich was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in the heart of the Canadian Prairies. He is a founding member of the successful, Saskatchewan roots band, All Mighty Voice.
Singing from a young age, Sabrina has honed her performance style in shows ranging from coffee shops to Country Thunder Saskatchewan, including regular cast appearances on The Country North Show (Prince Albert). With a musical maturity and renewed passion for her art, Sabrina was crowned the winner of the 2017 CKRM Proudly Saskatchewan Showcase as well as winning the "Spirit of Saskatchewan Songwriting Award." Recent highlights including showcases at Canadian Country Music Week in Saskatoon, sharing the stage with Doc Walker, and touring across her province of Saskatchewan. 2018 is going to be an exciting year for Sabrina, as she is ready to open her diary and record new music.
With a sound reminiscent of Dolly Parton crossed with Little Big Town, and the attitude of Gretchen Wilson, watch for Sabrina on tour throughout the prairies this spring and summer, with a single slated for release to country radio in early fall.
