The lineup has been confirmed for the second annual Concert Jam, which will be hosted as a community concert event for the Weyburn and District United Way, to kick off the campaign for Communithon. The Concert Jam will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Cugnet Centre (629 King St.), with seven groups set for the day of live music, starting at 1 p.m. Food will be catered by the Captain’s Hall, and a separate licensed refreshment area will be available for those of age.

The groups include Steph Cameron, Rugged Little Thing, Men Without Shame, Rock Candy, WoolTree Grove, Little Miss Higgins and the closing group, Dead Levee.

Steph Cameron is a Saskatoon-raised folk singer and songwriter, and Rugged Little Thing is a Saskatoon-based husband-and-wife folk duo who performed at the first Concert Jam last year.
Men Without Shame is a party band that plays classic rock tunes, and Rock Candy is a female-fronted rock group that covers songs from classic to current rock. WoolTree Grove, based in Forget, is the husband-wife duo of Aaron and Jacquie Walbaum, who play blues and folk tunes. Little Miss Higgins is a Saskatchewan-based country blues guitarist and singer.
The closing group is Dead Levee, a blues and rock band based in Regina, featuring the vocals of Weyburn’s Dane Von Hagen, formerly of Private Drive.
