Caves
(Saskatoon indie rock band)
Caves is a deadly indie band from Saskatoon. Check out their Bandcamp and listen to the song New Aegist from their album Young Adult Contemporary. Will they play it at the show? I hope so.

(acoustic songs with string accompaniment)
A wad of spit dripping out of Charles Bukowski's lower lip became sentient as it fell to the pavement. After splattering on the ground it began writing sad, soul searching poetry for a few decades. Drama Queen Martyr found this piece of spit's poems in an antique drawer and turned them into guitar songs.

Toria Summerfield

(solo performer playing cool uke tunes)
I left an Electric Six concert to come home to work on this Facebook event page for 15 minutes. I was just feeling dizzy and anxious surrounded by so many people. I should go back and check out *Electric Six... i guess. I'm more excited to see Toria play. She was pretty good when i saw her live.

*Important update on the Electric Six concert. I went back to the show and they were really good, but also, a beautiful woman flirted with me while i was there. I think. I can never tell. She smiled at me, and I instantly blushed, which made her circle around me like a shark. I just had an anxiety thing earlier that night and wasn't feeling very cool, so all i could do was blush as we danced next to each other—her lifting my toque over my ear every time she had something to say. I could feel her lips on my earlobe. I didn't catch her name. Even if we became soul mates and got married I'd still never want to learn it. We'd get to be an old couple on our death bed, having spent decades thinking of cute ways to avoid telling each other our real names, and right before she closes her eyes for the last time, she'd get this sincere smile on her face, place her lips against my ear, then introduce herself to me.
