ESETTE
Notoriously resilient and innovative, Esette’s unyielding work ethic, paired with over twenty years of experience in music, have made her a household name in Western Canada. As one of the guiding forces of cultural phenomena such as Substation Recordings, Girls on Decks, and the Alberta Electronic Music Conference, Esette (aka Isis Graham) is equally comfortable behind the decks or behind the scenes.

Her 30-plus releases have received support from artists like Maceo Plex, Fred Everything, Giom, Luke McKeehan, Animal Trainer, Vanilla Ace, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, DJ Heather, DOZA, and Pezzner.

As a DJ she’s been invited to play notable festivals like Bass Coast, WMC, Decibel, Astral Harvest, Motion Notion and ADE.

Graham first began throwing raves in 1997, witnessing the height of Calgary’s renegade party scene with events that drew as many as 1600 people. In 1999 she began DJing, and after local bylaws brought about the end of raves the following year she brought her sounds to some of the most notable venues of the last decade, appearing at now-legendary spots like the Embassy, Cherry Lounge, Manhattans, Habitat Living Sound, The Hifi Club and the Night Gallery.

In 2003 Graham was invited to become a founding member of Girls On Decks, a group dedicated to increasing the visibility of women in dance music. Together with the other members, Graham showed her ability to incite critical change by giving numerous women DJs a platform to develop as artists and be heard.

In the years that followed, Graham continued to develop her catalogue as a producer with a string of releases on Supremus Music, O*rs, Substation Recordings, RF and Nordic Trax. Since forming Substation Recordings, four of her releases have charted internationally.

Most recently, Graham has lent her expertise to the Alberta Electronic Music Conference, a boutique gathering of electronic music masterminds and up-and-comers alike in Western Canada. AEMCON is now heading into its third year, riding high despite its youthful status.

Esette’s knack for launching boundary-breaking initiatives and movements bleeds into her identity as a performer. Ever-changing and effervescent, her multifaceted approach and raw passion are contagious, a testament to the tenacity and zest she wishes to share with those around her.

DANGER BAY
Dane Hanson has always had an extreme love for electronic music starting from the age of 14. Growing up on Boards of Canada, Plaid, U-Ziq and "IDM" he was an avid collector of all things spacey, glitchy and abstract. This led to an intense 5 year digging period involving the now defunct CBS web radio station where he amassed a huge collection of Italo and Dutch Electro and added it to his arsenal.

Danger came onto the Saskatchewan scene in full force; DJing non-stop, constantly promoting events, and making a name for himself as a positive, energetic, healthy influence in the local electronic music community for the past 7 years.

Dane is one of the founders of the Skylab Events crew and label boss of the retired Skylab Records label.. Skylab has made a name for itself as one of the best crews for underground electronic music in Saskatchewan, bringing DJ's and producers in from across the country such as The Funk Hunters, Max Ulis, DJ Czech, Esette, Neighbor, The Librarian, Neon Steve, Chris Komus, LONGWALKSHORTDOCK, Nathan Zahn, Justin Kace, Jereme Oliver and many more.

With over 100 shows under his belt in just 6 years he's been spreading his brand of house/techno and helping build a vibrant electronic music community in the heart of the prairies.

Dane has recently moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2017 to expand his horizons and help build up a strong community of label owners, DJ's and producers.

From House & Techno to Future Soul, Disco and Italo, His high energy sets are sure to get you off the chairs and onto the dance floor as it’s a rare site to see him standing still behind the decks.

With a love for music and a thirst for production, he is always continuing to expand his skills as a DJ, Producer, Promoter and Label Boss.

"Don’t Forget to Look Up."
