The sound of rock, reggae and Latin colliding with 90’s ska-punk, minivandal is horn-infused, high-octane party-machine!

On Feb. 2nd, the Saskatoon-based band released their full-length debut album,“Turn Left Here”. Independently recorded and self-produced over the course of a year, the album's eleven original tracks provide a thrilling ride for the listener from start to finish.

The album’s first single ”Did I Stutter" was recently featured on Rock 102.1 FM's Hometown Rock show in Saskatoon. Other tracks that have already hit the airwaves include “Above Average Addiction”, “Friendly Fire”, and "Cruise Control," which were recently featured on the Canadian show Ska Party Radio. Tracks “Lay Your Dress on the Floor” and “Finding Something New” have also been featured on SaskMusic’s 2018 Love Rocks/Love Sucks playlists. Take the record for a spin to find out just how much punch a six-piece party-band can pack!

Originally formed by Dylan Ferguson (drums) and Anthony Orr (guitar) in the small town of Meacham Saskatchewan, BOOMlag quickly found their own brand of high energy rock. Dylan's brother Gabe soon joined on bass and together, BOOMlag wrote the basis for their first album, "Take to the Sky." Once Aaron Seaman joined the band as a guitarist, "Take to the Sky" was recorded.

BOOMlag's sound is characterized by high energy rock riffs side by side with slow delicate moments, all of it layered with the vocal harmonies of Dylan Ferguson and Anthony Orr. Their songs can jump between genres at any given moment, keeping listeners on their toes.

After returning to the studio, BOOMlag is soon ready to release a new EP! Stay tuned
