GrassRoots Regina is pleased to present award-winning singer-songwriter Jory Nash in concert.
Jory blends elements of folk, jazz, blues, soul, and pop into an original stew of sound. A master storyteller with a commanding stage presence, Jory tours across North America playing mostly solo concerts.
Jory is a Toronto-based independent folk artist who has the unique ability to meld many different musical styles into his own version of contemporary folk music. Jory has mastered various styles and instruments. He plays acoustic guitar, both finger-style and flat-pick. He also plays piano and five-string banjo and compliments his playing with his warm, inviting voice. With thoughtful lyrics and intricate melodies, he draws the audience close. With easy humour, engaging banter and colourful stories, he wins them over.
