Ground-breaking roots musician Andrew Collins has teamed up with multi-instrumentalists Mike Mezzatesta and James McEleney to create music that blurs the lines between bluegrass, jazz, old-time, folk, Celtic, and classical. The trio displays amazing versatility, trading off on mandolin, mandola, mandocello, fiddle, guitar, and bass. On the group’s latest disc, And it Was Good, Andrew and company tackle the age-old creation story, brilliantly rendering each of the seven days to a secular and musical fruition.
