*** ABOUT THE STRANGE VALENTINES ***

The Strange Valentines are a duo originally from Nova Scotia and Australia. Their combined backgrounds' results in a musical mix of folk, rock, and a little bit of blues. With quirky senses of humour and rich harmonies, these two are good fun as well as musically entertaining. David the Australian is a well accomplished guitarist and banjo player. Janet the Maritimer plays mandolin, and sometimes keyboards, bass, or guitar depending on the song. Both strong vocalists take turns with harmonies. There's only two of them, but their original songs and stories will not disappoint. Writing about small town people, jerks of the world, and their own exciting entry to Saskatchewan there is bound to be a story and a song for everyone.

*** BIG BAD STORM ***

2015 winner of the 94.5 Jack FM *Battle of the Cover Bands* Big Bad Storm is a collective of musicians from various acts that have performed all over North America, from New York to L.A. and from Vancouver Island to the East Coast of Canada.

This top shelf classic rock band based out of Regina performs well known -but rarely heard- songs of the hard rock era from the 60's and 70's. Have no fear, this high energy group is sure to excite!
