~~Juno Award-winning Smithers, BC –based musician Alex Cuba won his third
Latin Grammy Award, this time in the category of best singer-songwriter.
The accolade was given for his album Healer at the 2015 award. Cuba beat
out Santiago Cruz, Leonel Garcia, Marta Gómez and Gian Marco to win his
third Latin Grammy.
The signature live trio sound is evident on this album from the first song, with
Vocal harmonies and a Cuban Requinto (small-bodied Cuban Guitar) providing
An intimate feel and communicating the soul of Music.
The November 3 show at The Bassment will see Alex with an all-Cuban band:
