ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Ed Gee is a self-taught local artist and has been painting for approximately 25 years.
He has been involved in local community art movements and shows including the Flatland Artist Studios, Fuego, Underground Sound/NFC/Artful Dodger's The Artist Series and the Sunday Art Market.
The abstract works on display are from recent years. Ed’s style employs various vibrant colours and organic forms. His style might be considered related to a movement known as Orphism. One of the aspects of note in this exhibition is the use of a wide range of colours and contours. The works are an exploration of colour and form. The mixture of colour and form allows the eye to move and the imagination to explore implicit and explicit representations of figures and natural organic forms.

Brandon “Brando” Brock (born August 4, 1990) is a Canadian electronic music DJ born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He is known throughout the music industry and club community for his professional yet unconventional mixing style and technical knowledge of various genres. Being a master at his own craft, he is also unafraid to experiment with new sounds and styles.
Today Brando can be found playing a spectrum of different genres from Techno to Minimal to Deep House and even Lounge music. He is consistent in his originality, ensuring that even the most difficult and demanding of audiences are grooving all night long and considering the perfectionist he is when he is in the mix, he continues to improve considerably everyday and always has a few surprises each time he is seen playing out.
Considering the demand for more mainstream sounds and styles amongst the larger population of Regina and the surrounding areas, Brando has never fallen under the pressure for that certain demand and has always stayed true to his own personal styles having delivered an unforgettable performance that everyone has enjoyed each and every time.
