Étienne Fletcher Music
Etienne Fletcher is a prairie boy from Regina, SK, who is no stranger to the music scene. With him creatively is Sean McCannell. Both Etienne and Sean are former members of Indigo Joseph, a local project that received national recognition, and the CBC song of the summer. Collectively they have turned their efforts towards another side of their musical interests and have been writing an Indie-persuaded, bilingual album.
Etienne is a proud Francophone from Regina and writing in French has opened wide his creative niche. In 2015 Etienne Fletcher performed at Nouvelle Scene in Regina, winning the People's Choice Award, Songwriter's Award and the opportunity to continue in the next competition in Winnipeg's Chant Ouest. Again, there, he received all three awards and the opportunity to perform at Granby, Quebec in August 2016. This recognition has brought attention to the name Etienne Fletcher and the two decided to continue under that entity to open as many doors to stages.
Imagine solving for the variable merely using catchy pop-esque melodies, tricky bass n' snare hops, and sneakily sporadic, yet simple keyboard lines, enveloped together with gleaming and splashy guitar themes. Laska does just that with their amped up, feverish candor that gets right to the musical heart. Coupled with dual vocals that bring you both sides of awesome, this band will have your head spinning and your heart throbbing for more.
ROMA - playing their first ever show in Regina!
