What?: The Justice Studies Students Society is hosting a fundraiser for The Big Sky Centre for Learning and being Astonished (Astonished). Astonished is a not-profit Saskatchewan based charity organization whose primary focus is creating and working in an inclusive community. At Astonished, they work to address the barriers young adults with complex physical disAbilities (core members) face daily. Astonished, does this by creating opportunities for teaching and learning for their members. They aim to better include their core members in more social, recreational, cultural and employment opportunities in their community. This organization is comprised of amazing young adults who are living with mild to complex physical needs. The Goal of this organization is to promote an inclusive environment that allows all individuals to dream big, create goals and regardless of any limitations achieve them. This is done through the help of support workers who work tirelessly and joyfully to ensure each core member reaches his and her potential.

Why?: As Justice Students, we believe in inclusion and equal opportunity for all! With that said we decided we wanted to help, this evening will be filled with some very exciting raffle items, a 50/50 draw and entertainment by local artists Georgia Laloudakis Scott Richmond Band, and URimprov!
