SOAP BOX DUO
Alexander and Jenesa MacMullin are an Edmonton based pop duo with a folk undertone, hinting of both rock and jazz. The couple’s passion is to use music as their ‘soap box’ to inspire others toward justice.
Coming onto the scene early fall of 2015, this dynamic pair saturated the Edmonton and area music scene playing more than 160 live performances to date! From coffee shops to corporate banquets, audiences have been delighted by the couples authentic vintage look and modern sound. Since January the couple has released a music video, recorded & released their first EP, won a Battle of the Bands competition, appeared on Shaw Television and were featured on multiple radio stations including CBC Radio 1. Most recently, the couple was nominated for the GMA’s “New Artist of the Year” for 2016.
The duo is on a Western Canadian Tour from March 23-April 9th, ending at Edmonton’s hottest new venue, the Needle Vinyl Tavern.
