Russell deCarle is a veteran of the Canadian country music scene. He co-founded, along with Keith Glass and Dennis Delorme, the Canadian country group Prairie Oyster in 1974.
Russell launched his solo career in 2010 with the release of Under The Big Sky. He currently tours and records with his solo group, the Russell deCarle Trio. They play an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, country and western, Latin music, R&B and western swing.
