Description

Carmelle plays violin in the Regina Symphony and has played with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She received her BA from Trinity Western University and her Masters in Violin Performance from U of R. Locally, she has performed with and arranged string parts for rock, folk, pop, and alt-country artists such as Jason Plumb and the Willing, Jeffery Straker, Yana, The Lazy MKs, Danny Olliver, Nick Faye, Poor Nameless Boy, Bev Zizzy, and Cara Golemba. She arranges and transcribes music and book players for small string ensembles for various events, mostly with the group Pile of Bows String Quartet. Bass guitar, keyboard and vocals are her secondary musical interests, along with choral directing, transcribing and arranging, and conducting.
