I'm a blues-infused alt-folk singer-songwriter/guitarist/harmonica player, and my ideal band (for both recording & live) looks like this:

* cellist who isn't afraid to use fx to create atmosphere (think Nigel Kennedy meets Johnny Greenwood)
* lead guitarist who thrives on using fx to create atmosphere (think Reeves Gabrels meets Mark Knopfler)
* percussionist who is just as focused on texture as they are on meter (Think Stuart Copeland)
* one or two harmony singers (who can also step in for some lead vocals) (think Emmy Lou Harris meets Joy Williams)
* piano player with soul & creativity
* me (vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica, fx)
