Marie-Clo x éemi is a collaboration between two bilingual singer-songwriters separated by 3000 km of forests, rivers, mountains and prairies. Marie-Clo, Franco-Ontarian, and éemi, Fransaskoise, unite for one album. They deliver intimate, vibrant and surreal electronic pop with eco-feminist lyrics that spark their fans’ empathy towards nature.

In 2017, while competing at the Planète BRBR finale (a music competition for francophone musicians outside Québec), the two reach a secret agreement: to share a portion of the grand prize, regardless of who the jury crowns the winner. Thus, the two artists come out winners. This is what gives them the strength to pursue their solo careers independently for a few years, while continuing to fuel the growth of this forest they have just planted.

The Franco-Ontarian multidisciplinary chameleon Marie-Clo decides to plant a garden. Following the success of her first French EP Faune, she plants another, her first full album, this time mainly in English: Shell(e), released in three parts in 2020 and 2021. With international recognition, Shell(e) topped many national charts (Sirius XM, Stingray, Radio-Canada, etc.), won Album of the Year with the Capital Music Awards and a Trille Or for her single Red Flag.

The tireless Fransaskoise bee, éemi, collects nectar from several flowers to make honey. She also released Honey, her first EP, which received nominations at the Western Canadian Music Awards, the Saskatchewan Music Awards and the Gala des prix Trille Or.

In 2022, their forest is dense and mature. With the support of MusicAction, CAC OAC, OMIC and the Conseil culturel fransaskois, Marie-Clo and éemi enter a symbiotic relationship. Their songs personify flora and fauna, draw inspiration from modern science, and showcase co-evolution; their friendship. Two Lips Part I will be released on May 20 2022.

"On fera la fête" is the first single off of Two Lips Pt. I, which will be released on May 20 2022. We explore the metamorphosis of being forced to cocoon during the pandemic. The song's first chorus roughly translates to "We used to party", and is followed by a second chorus that translates to "We will party soon".

The entire album, Two Lips, is directly inspired by nature and personifies it in order to incite empathy for it.
