Regina, SK based bloozy indie-rock group, Grim, is made up of Léa Arngrimson (Vocals/guitar), Terran Buck (Bass), Shelynn Taneal (Synth/Vo ) and Jeff Lunde (Percussion).
Jeff, Terran and Léa played together previously in a Regina, SK hard rock group known as Hello, Lady. The book to Hello, Lady was closed after Léa had started writing with a more melodic style. Subsequently, almost a year spent offstage, Léa talked to Terran and Jeff and the crew was back together again.
Jeff provides a strong backbone of percussion and Terran resurrects a John Deacon-esque style. Together, they enslave the rhythm section. The final piece of Grim was added after Shelynn's participation in a Grim video shoot. Noticing her spitfire personality and vocal chops Léa snatched her up. Grim's dark toned songs accent the minor melodies of a combustion fire leaving you questioning everything you've ever known. Is that water cooler flirting with me?

Regina, SK based Hard-Indie-Rock group, Grim, is made up of Léa Arngrimson (Vocals/guitar), Jeff Lunde (Percussion), Shelynn Taneal (Vox), and Brandon Nicholson (Bass). Grim has a dark tone of melodies running across the border between hard rock and indie folk. Traversing through lighter melodies while still dipping their toes in the heavier rhythms with 2 female leads, this sound leads to nothing less than controlled chaos.
Grim has already graced the stage with such acts as Mobina Galore, Colour in the Cloud, and Desert Island Classic. Most recently, Grim has been accepted into the semi-finals of Queen City Rocks presented by Regina's 104.9 The Wolf which also serves as a fundraiser for The Music Heals Foundation.
Their debut album ‘Monsters’ has already received critical acclaim as a ground breaking sound for the Regina scene.
