In 2017, Kinder Scout (www.kinderscoutband.com) has officially become Dale Mac, a name he is known by in the local music scene (www.dalemac.com). Dale Mac uses his guitar experience to lead his songwriting in the new album. The new material naturally took a Bluesy Rock and Acoustic Roots style of writing. Following up on the 2015 EP "WhistleMan", is a roots/blues guitar driven album in the works.

in 2017, Dale is also the official lead guitarist for Nashville Recording Artist Shannon Rae.

The line-up for Dale Mac, however, has not changed but is more experienced and ready.

Todd Wakefield remains on bass. Todd is becoming a well-known bassist/session player in Sask and beyond.

Todd is the also official bassist for Nashville Recording artist Shannon Rae. He has landed gear, clothing and instruments endorsements through his skills and professional role in the industry.

The new sound of Dale Mac involves newly added influences such as Joe Bonamassa, Tragically Hip, Stevie Ray Vaughn, while remaining true to their lifelong influences.
