    Regina, SK – I Ching Music proudly announces the release of CD96: Ensemble 219 – Richard O. Burdick’s Chamber Music, a captivating new album by acclaimed composer and hornist Richard O. Burdick. Now available on BandCamp at https://richardoburdick.bandcamp.com/album/cd96-ensemble-219-richard-o-burdicks-music-for-english-horn-horn-harp-cello, the album will soon be accessible on streaming platforms worldwide.

    Featuring an innovative ensemble of English horn, horn, harp, cello and often prerecorded sounds on videotape, CD96 delivers a unique multisensory experience. As part of Burdick’s Music with Video series, many tracks integrate stunning visuals with evocative soundscapes, showcasing his signature blend of classical chamber music and modern innovation. This is the audio release.

    The album includes 15 works, such as:

    Utah Suite, Op. 246 (Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome Birds, Zion): Majestic soundscapes paired with vivid videotape.
    Snapshots, Op. 326 & Op. 345: Vibrant musical vignettes for the full ensemble.
    Across to Pompeys Pillar, Op. 261: A solo horn journey with immersive visuals.

    This release complements Burdick’s upcoming Music and Video from Summer Vacations concert on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, Regina, SK, where audiences can experience live performances of select works from the album.
