Amy Nelson is a country music artist. She is a singer/songwriter who also plays keyboard and guitar. Her training includes a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Regina, as well as extensive private training for voice and keyboard. When Nelson is on stage, you can expect to hear contemporary country music by artists such as Terri Clark, Sugarland and the Dixie Chicks as well as some of the original music she has written.

    Nelson’s sophomore EP release was produced as a combined effort between Bart McKay (Gord Bamford, Shane Yellowbird, Brett Kissel) and Jessie Farrell (2007 CCMA Female Artist of the Year), and features Nelson’s strong vocals and songwriting abilities. If You Don’t Miss Me made the Top 9 across Canada in the 2014 Radio Star National Talent Search; GMC appeared on SaskMusic’s 2014 In Tune compilation. Kicked off in summer 2014, the EP has received strong reviews from industry and fans alike. Nelson was named the 2014 Next Big Thing by Big Dog 92-7/Bell Media.
