Do you have an artistic vision, but lack a stage? This is your chance!
Pitch us your concept and build your own mentorship. The selected applicant will receive $3,500 as curator-in-residence, and access to a project budget to develop a concert program for premiere on Soundstreams' Main Stage in 2024/25.
New Voices is a mentorship program designed for the artistic leaders of tomorrow. The program aims to provide a steppingstone for emerging artists and arts professionals looking to gain experience in the curation, production, and presentation of new music within a mid-size performing arts company.
One applicant will be selected to work with Founding Artistic Director Lawrence Cherney over 8 months to realize their proposed concept. The New Voices mentorship program will be tailored to the selected candidate to explore individual learning goals and areas of interest as well as perspectives from colleagues in Soundstreams' vast global network.
