Each year, Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM) hosts a gathering that spans four days, beginning Thursday afternoon and ending on Sunday. The Folk Alliance Region Midwest conference is an event where folk and acoustic music professionals gather to meet, talk, learn, listen, promote, pay tribute, celebrate, sing, dance and make music.
Each year, they present 14 artists who showcase on their main stage on Friday and Saturday evenings. Artists submissions are reviewed by a jury of peers, venues, DJs and agents. There is only one official showcase happening at a time, and there are no other conference events during the official showcase time. In other words, all eyes will be on you when you perform.
