Legal Service Program

SaskMusic offers a pro bono Legal Services program to our members with the assistance of lawyer Kurt Dahl of Coal Harbour Law (formerly Murphy & Company LLP). Through this program, up to 2 hours of free legal services annually* are available to SaskMusic members who hold current Individual, Band, or Corporate memberships. Please note, this is a first-come, first-served program (the program may temporarily close each year once we've reached capacity) and services are limited to issues relating to your career in the music industry.

Additionally, if the matter you wish to discuss involves opposing parties, Coal Harbour Law is only able to work with the first party who enlists their services or signs up through this SaskMusic program (as would be the case with any law firm), regardless of whether both parties may be SaskMusic members.

*based on our fiscal year of April 1-March 31.
