Donnelly, an industry veteran with over 22 years in the music business.
Marian started in 1976 with Regina-based company Star Kommand Productions,
a concert production and artist management company. For ten years, Marian
managed Polygram recording artist Sue Medley. Born and raised in Regina,
Marian worked in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto music communities before
returning home in 1996 to take the job of Executive Director at SaskMusic from 1996-2003.
She has been the Chair of FACTOR's National Advisory Board, a member of
the Cultural Industries Development Strategy Committee, the Saskatchewan
Cultural Export Initiative, the Saskatchewan Sectoral Cultural Council,
and the Cultural Human Resources Council. Besides her work at SaskMusic, Marian
has acted as a seminar leader on a variety of music business issues.
